What people don’t understand is that when a citizen is accused of a crime we must go to court and prove our innocence, however when a public official is accused of a crime they automatically get the benefit of doubt and a full on investigation sometimes takes place. Two sets of rules in play, and it is not right. He should be arrested and be forced to prove he’s innocent just like anyone one else!
I already see the outcome of this supposed investigation, no charges. Illinois is a corrupt cesspool from top to bottom…

Documents? Are you kidding me? Where there documents when they arrested John Gotti or any other mobster. This man is solely responsible for strapping the saddles on the backs of millions of Illinoisans and they freaking need documents? Ask Blago what kind of documents they presented to the court.
Mike is correct. Two sets of rules.
The fact that Madigan has been in office for all these many years should be reason enough to expel him. Term limits people,,,, Wake Uo!

This is the face of evil. The face that threw all the people of Illinois under the bus while making his backroom deals for self-aggrandizement. This is how really evil things like the mandating of deadly smart meters got shoved through so quickly while the people had no say. Just the tip of a decades-old iceberg. Bring back public hangings for treason and you might see some improvement.

Mike Hoit is right. Why are these lawbreakers not incarcerated now?

There will always be corruption in everything. Madigan is like the Visa card…..he’s the one who keeps things moving. I hate to say that, but it is true and I’m not even a Dem. He is the glue that holds things together and he runs the show. If he is incarcerated ……..ever so slowly things will break down. He’s Irish and knows what he is doing. Just like Papa Daley knew. If he was Mayor now……..there would have been peaceful protests or else. By now it would have been wrapped up the Daley way. This is CHICAGO.

Of course the speaker “has no plans to resign.” For goodness sake, there were also no grand jury subpoena plans either. The subpoena is responsive to house membership conduct,. We’d all have been better off without such a compelling response.

    Let the investigation be expedited!
