McHenry Co. (ECWd) –
Mchenry County Board meeting of April 21, 2020, was canceled by Chairman Jack Franks and then 1 minute later an Emergency Meeting was convened. We questioned the validity of the need for an emergency meeting by filing a request for review with the Attorney General Public Access Counselor.
The AG PAC has determined that further action is warranted and has requested Franks to state where and when the notice was posted for the emergency meeting, and explain why the Board believed an emergency meeting was necessary.
