Death threats, perverted and extreme sexual and racial slurs - Sunshine Week coming up!

BY JOHN KRAFT & KIRK ALLEN

ON March 9, 2018

ILLINOIS (ECWd) -

Brace yourselves! Rough road ahead...

With Sunshine Week just around the corner - March 11-17, 2018 - we will be writing on several issues concerning access to public records in Illinois local and state governments.

We will detail the transparency shortcomings of some public bodies.

We will discuss those public bodies who strive to be an open book.

We will also talk about a highly educated individual who thought he could hide behind "anonymous messaging" to our website and "hidden" website owner registration, all with the express purpose of intimidating and threatening the lives of his targets. This one covers several different states, two Universities, and one employee.

We will talk about another deranged individual who sent anonymous multipage letters, filled with crazy conspiracy theories - but made one mistake which enabled us to identify her.

All this and more coming up next week.

Even more reason to put a new AG in office who will put our state on notice that there will be ZERO tollerance for avoiding FOIA requests, enforcement of OMA, full and speedy resolution to citizen complaints and immediate prosecutation where warranted. In other words, remind the “powers that be” THEY WORK FOR US!

Sorry about the typo in prosecution. 🙁
