Investigator Paul Ciolino Sues Cook County State’s Attorney,

Also names prominent lawyers Terry Ekl, Jim Sotos, Andy Hale and their investigators

(CHICAGO) April 28, 2016—When Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez freed confessed murderer Alstory Simon from prison she was conspiring with prominent DuPage County lawyers to get payback against the key members of Northwestern University’s Innocence Project and its journalism school who brought to light several wrongful convictions in Illinois, a counterclaim lawsuit filed by the project’s former private investigator Paul Ciolino alleges.

    I believe that Ciolino’s claim is entirely possible. I really hope he can prove it and make them pay.
