College of DuPage - ICCB Determines Deanne Mazzochi Chairman

BY JOHN KRAFT & KIRK ALLEN

ON January 7, 2016

College of DuPage (ECWd) -

The Illinois Community College Board ("ICCB") has issued an Agency Opinion that since the Statute does not distinguish between an absence due to sickness, etc, and an absence due to a resignation, their opinion is that Vice-Chair Maccochi is the Chairman, or acting in the chairman's absence, until the end of former Chairman Hamilton's term as Chairman.

This is something we have reported in the past, as the statute is clear.

The three boycotting trustees may have to re-think their past and future actions in light of this ICCB Opinion.
