OLIVER, IL. (ECWd) –
There was a suspected case of arson late last night that happened around 10:30 p.m.
The scanner from last night indicated the entire second story was fully engulfed when the Fire Department arrived. Participating were the Oliver, Paris, and Marshal Fire Departments.
According to the home owner, there were no injuries and no one was home at the time.
The owner also stated that there were very good security camera pictures and videos of the suspected arsonist. The Edgar County Sheriff’s Department had control of those, had issued a press release, and has released copies to media in an effort to identify the suspect.
We are obtaining copies, and will update this when more information is available.

Well, just hope they don’t lose it or accidentally erase it. Hope the homeowner made a copy before he gave it to them.
