FORD CO. (ECWd) - When you get school yard bullies running things and they finally have their ball taken from them, they use their uneducated intellect to lash out and deflect the attention from their actions to blame others...all in the hope someone would listen, but more often than not it comes back to bite them! This case will be no different.
I think the recent exposure from Cary Hagen may just well be one of those events, her outburst made some claims that we followed up on and by all indications Ms. Hagen is having some coping challenges with the removal of her boss, and she may have convinced others to join her on a quest that may cost some folks a great deal and possibly their nursing licenses.
She made the claim she had 4 signed documents claiming a particular nurse gave away Tamiflu and not the disgraced former Administrator, Doug Corrbett.
What do the facts show?
January 2013 the Nurse in charge of the Tamiflu documents a very detailed chain of events that even included contacting the State's Attorney as it relates to Mr. Corbett accessing the drug cabinet and distributing medications in violation of the law.
Anyone with half a brain can read those notes and e-mails and identify that in January of 2013 she identified a problem with enough significance, she feared losing her nursing license and took steps to protect herself! This situation was one of many factors taken into consideration for the removal of Doug Corbett from his duties.
Then comes along Cary Hagen, acting like a 6 year old throwing a temper tantrum, claiming she has signed documentation to discredit the claims made by the nurse.
Ms. Hagen, a few things you might want to consider when you step into the life of public service! Accountability! Before we ever get to the documents she references let's look at a key point in her claims!
The claim that a nurse did something she was not allowed to do comes 6 months too late! Does she really expect people to believe that 6 months after the fact she has proof it was the nurse who did wrong and not the Administrator?
She claims to be the HR person for the FIPHD, yet she did NOTHING to bring this issue to any official for it to be investigated. No, she yells at her employers and blames them for not asking her for the information.
Well let's look at how nuts this woman must be if she expects ANYONE to believe what appears to be a set of false statements placed on paper, and signed buy so called professionals, who all seem to have some interesting ties to Mr. Corbett and key events!
The letter provided by Luann Armantrout - RN, is dated July 15th, 2013 and makes no reference of when her claimed receipt of medications took place. As an RN, she Knows you cannot distribute medications without a prescription, so why would she accept them? Is not accepting them just as bad as giving them out without proper medical direction? Her letter, as do the others, focus on deflecting who gave out the medications and totally ignore the fact that doing so without a prescription or a Dr's. order violates the law.
Now we know the FIPHD knows we are digging into the flood grant matters, and would it surprise anyone to know that Luann Armantrout's name shows up on the list of people getting flood grant funding. Documents obtained through FOIA reflect a Septic system 2 years after the flood for Ms. Armantrout. What did she do for a septic system during those 2 years?
Note that she sent her document to Page Marcott. Who is Page Marcott? She is Cary Hagen's right hand in the office, and she too operated her private business from the FIPHD. Sounds like Cary Hagen trained her well considering she operated a private foundation from the public office as well. Page Marcott likes to sell purses while at work, and from what we understand an actual display was set up to sell them. I wonder if she realizes it was illegal for her to operate her purse sales from within the FIPHD? Not only did she sell her goods there in violation of the law, she utilized public equipment to promote those sales!
Her letter claiming a nurse gave the medications to her also fails to disclose when this happened.
Next comes the letter from Mary Cahoe-RN, who was the Home Health Nurse that quit only days after we exposed home health had lost over $1 Million Dollars in three years. Yet another RN signing her name to a document claiming she received medications illegally!
The most amazing part of her provided letter regarding receiving medications, is the fact she doesn't remember who gave them to her! So if she doesn't remember, would that make Cary Hagen a liar because she claimed she had 4 letters signed claiming one person gave out the medications?
Regardless, at what point does an RN lose their license for accepting medications from ANYONE without a prescription? They KNOW it's wrong but do nothing until July 12th of 2013. I wonder what the agency that is in charge of their license will think of their actions in accepting medications for their own use without prescriptions?
The final letter is from the King of stupidity himself, Doug Corbett. The administrator's well crafted letter doesn't make an accusation that any medications were given out, but instead points to him being mislead by the nurse by her actions and "statements" to give out the Tamilfu to the employees/families in need. Note that this letter is the first to reference a time frame, which was the 2012-2013 flu season.
If such a letter from the Administrator is to be believed, is it out of line to ask why such an act by an employee wasn't addressed 6 months earlier when it supposedly happen? Why was nothing placed in the employee's file?
By all indications, 4 people have conspired together to create and distribute a record that appears to contain false information. I wonder if these people are familiar with the Forgery laws and changes to that law in 2012?
A person commits forgery when, with intent to defraud, he or she knowingly:
- (1) makes a false document or alters any document to make it false and that document is apparently capable of defrauding another.
- ....."false document" or "document that is false" includes, but is not limited to, a document whose contents are false in some material way.
If affidavits and first hand testimony proves the information in those letters to be false, would these 4 people possibly face forgery charges?
I think the more we dig, the more evidence we find that placing uneducated people into a positions of power leads us down a path that always harms the tax payers! For starters, Cary Hagen should be the next to go! He behavior and lack of proper skills for the job is more than enough to remove her from her post. Considering Corbett is already gone and one of the other letter providers has quit it might be high time to remove the remaining two once its proven those letters do in fact contain false information.
