Thornton Township (ECWd) –
During tonight’s Thornton Township Democrat Caucus, the township Democrats nominated the slate headed by Napoleon Harris (for Supervisor) to be on the ballot for township elected positions in the spring 2025 election.
Current appointed Supervisor Tiffany Henyard was shouted down by the gymnasium full of residents, they even start singing “na, na, nana, na, na, nana, hey hey hey, goodby” to her while she attempted to speak.

How about you “journalists” showing the 2 sides of an issue. Oh I forgot, your misogyny against Ms. Henyard continues. Here is the other side of the issue for sake of balanced non partisan reporting.

Can’t read behind the paywall. There is no “misogyny” involved – she has brought it all upon herself and will hopefully soon pay the price in federal court.
The Attorney General has determined that being a general assembly member (House) is not incompatible with being a township supervisor. It seems that the same logic would hold for a Senate member. Maybe not the best situation in the world, but as long as it is legal, it’s better than what they’ve got!
How about reporting both views. Some attorneys believe this was not an illegal meeting. Just asking for fair and unbiased reporting from “investigative journalists”.

Yay! For that. But why is a state Senator the nominee? I find it a tad disturbing that people can hold 2 paying jobs in government positions.
