Paris, Ill. (ECWd) –

Today’s Hearing with Jesse L. Kollman resulted in Judge Isaf ordering him held without bail, finding him a “real and present threat” to the public.

Jesse Kollman is being charged with the following related to the alleged shooting at White Oak Park in Paris:

  • Attempted First Degree Murder – a Class X Felony
  • Hate Crimes – a Class 3 Felony

He was granted a public defender, and the next hearing is on April 24, 2026, at 10:0 a.m.

The State indicated that initially, the Kollman brothers and Jaydon Reynolds claimed they were “attacked for no reason by three black guys,” but the evidence and 911 calls showed something different.
