Edgar Co., Ill. (ECWd) –
During the April 8, 2026, Edgar County Board Meeting, one of the items (#12) coming up for a vote is to “Authorize Advertisement Seeking Bids for the Sale of the Edgar County Jail 228 N. Central Ave., Paris, IL.”
With the opening of the new jail scheduled for later this summer/fall, the board is preparing to dispose of the current jail building and property.
