Pontiac, IL. (ECWd) –

Another Corrections Officer at the Illinois Department of Corrections, Pontiac Correctional Center was arrested.

We previously reported on the five Pontiac officers arrested and charged with felonies in McLean County (here).

Pontiac Police Corporal Alan Doran arrested Andrew Krominga, a 5+ year D.O.C. employee making more than $71,000 in 2019 (according to OpenTheBooks).

Krominga was charged with Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm, and Domestic Battery/Physical Contact, on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Both are Class A Misdemeanors.

Krominga posted the $75.00 Bond (10% of $750.00).

His next Court appearance is April 6, 2021, in Livingston County Circuit Court.

This shouldn’t be tied to the other 5 as this is a DOMESTIC ABUSE…. not having anything to do with 5 arrested for mob action/violence!

I agree with Jennifer — this shouldn’t be tied to the other story – domestic abuse cases are another issue. It’s interesting the salary, but it’s like so what.

Referred to as “law enforcement officers” in last month’s Public Act, with all six employed by the state at the Pontiac, Illinois DOC facility; the common denominators.

Funny how people rush to defend their all-knowing “no connection” assertions before using a molecule of critical thought or common sense. Six arrests of correctional officers from the same facility within one month is coincidental and strange.

Yah, jumping to conclude “shouldn’t” is like agreeing to try hopscotch without a peever.
