Coles Co. Mediator / Paralegal, asked for new Mediator –

By John Kraft & Kirk Allen

On September 8, 2020

Charleston, IL. (ECWd) –

Ronda Parker, Court Appointed Mediator, has petitioned for appointment of a new mediator in a case dealing with parental responsibilities. In her petition, she stated that “Counsel for Mr. Young has engaged in conduct that conflicts your mediator.”

We presume Parker is talking about the case filed impugning her, 2020-MR-276, in which the first Count alleges Parker “used her public office for personal gain and to cause harm” and “Ronda Parker has and continues to use the full weight and authority of her employment with the Coles County State’s Attorney’s Office to secure a business and professional advantage. Ronda Parker has occupied and used her position of responsibility and trust in local government, the legal profession, and the judiciary for personal gain and to cause injury in violation of Illinois Law. Ronda Parker has wrongfully converted county resources for personal gain. Ronda Parker has aided and abetted Jesse Danley use of the Coles County State’s Attorney Office from September 2019 until present, and its staff and resources as her personal office in support of her court appointed medication practice.

The previous Petition for Special Attorney also alleges that the State’s Attorney knew what she was doing, and did not put a stop to it.

We wrote about some of this last November (here).

Parker appears to blame Mr. Young’s counsel, Attorney Mervin Wolfe, for his signing of the Petition for Special Attorney in the other case (above), instead of her own actions of allegedly using public resources to conduct private business (as mediator), which partly brought on the Petition for Special Attorney.
