Shimkus Failed To Gain The Energy and Commerce Chairmanship -

BY JOHN KRAFT & KIRK ALLEN

ON January 9, 2017

WASHINGTON D.C. (ECWd) -

More news pointing to the possible resignation of John Shimkus is the fact that Rep. Greg Walden beat him out of the Energy and Commerce Panel Chairmanship, something Shimkus based most of his election campaign on.

Turns out, he was outvoted and will not get that position.

Is this another sign that Shimkus is on his way out after achieving his "20-year" mark for retirement - even though he first campaigned on term limits, only to back-stab his constituents after taking office by failing to term limit himself?

Good luck to Rep. Greg Walden and the Energy and Commerce Panel.
