Trustee McGuire has once again dug herself a hole that may not have a shovel worthy of digging her way out.
She went to the Daily Herald and they obliged in reporting her cries to the Attorney General regarding Breuder's law suit against the Board and COD.
According to their reporting she is "asking whether the college would be on the hook for damages against four trustees sued individually as part of a federal case brought by former President Robert Breuder after he was fired last week."
"McGuire said she doesn't trust the board's lawyers to provide "candid and unbiased advice" about the college's obligations to "the four trustees responsible for hiring them."
Now we all know McGuire is such a great investigator on matters as she routinely brags about her research. Keeping that in mind, let's take a look down the hole she has dug.
February of 2014 - Trustee McGuire just happens to be a party to a law suit in which she is being sued, drum roll please, in both her official and individual capacity, along with all the other board members.
Considering clear back in February of 2014 she is being sued in her individual capacity, one would think she would already have an answer to the concerns she now raised regarding COD being on the hook for damages.
The fact we find nothing in the record of her raising any concerns over COD being on the hook for damages in her case, we believe it is safe to state her current drama riddled blabbering is nothing more than her own self-created crisis in which she got some attention in the paper. Sadly, the paper failed to investigate the validity of her questions in relation to her also being sued in her individual capacity.
As far as her not trusting the current board's lawyer on the Breuder case, it is only proper to ask, what did the other attorneys tell her on her case?
Considering both cases name trustees in their individual capacity, how is it that she never raised any concern in the case against her, but garnered photo coverage of her whining in the local paper on the current Breuder case?
We believe this is yet another example of Trustee McGuire fabricating story lines and talking points in an effort to discredit any and all efforts of fixing the problems plaguing COD.
She should be ashamed and resign immediately as this clearly shows her to be a hypocrite and crisis creator.
